Wedding Story

I celebrated my engagement in March 2019. Prasad Uncle graciously agreed to perform the religious ceremony. It was so great to have family sing on the stage helping us through the ceremony and explaining the significance of the rituals we were performing. At first, some of the groom’s guests mistook him for a religious priest and were surprised by how much he was chatting and interacting with our family. Only when he came on stage to give a toast did they learn he was my uncle. Prasad Uncle helped make my engagement and other wedding celebrations memorable through his help with planning and setting up, performing religious ceremonies, and his attendance to celebrate the big day. Throughout my childhood, he was always there for me during my birthdays, graduations, and wedding. I will cherish the memories I have of us celebrating good times together.
